Lately I been having a lot of trouble with my MAMP mysql and I think it has something to do with Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Sometimes when I try to start MAMP, my apache server get launched but my mysql server doesn’t. What I do is terminate the mysql process before I startup MAMP and than it works. Execute these commands in terminal and restart MAMP
ps aux | grep mysql lsof -i killall -9 mysqld
This works well!! Thank you very much!!
I think what you said was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? what if you typed a catchier
title? I am not saying your information isn’t solid., however suppose you added a post title to possibly grab people’s attention?
I mean Problems MAMP
Hello, thank you, but where is the terminal window located? I have seen this solution posted in a number of places, but can’t figure out where to place the line of code. Many thanks 🙂
